How the heat score works

Each item earns a live heat score from four signals over the last 24 hours — page views, wishlist adds, mentions in active trade ads, and inclusions in trade-checker comparisons. We add a value-movement bonus when the community-averaged price has moved more than a percent or two over the last week. The result is a single number that says, in real time: this is what traders are actually paying attention to.
